Hello everyone! I have managed to make a few cards this month all for DT projects but I'm quite please with some of them!
So here they are
This is a cute image from Polkadoodle that was the Outlawz Progressive image for October, I coloured her up with Prismacolor pencils, made a frame using some lush black glitter card, I used a base card in burgundy and a lilac polkadot, for a finishing touch I added a spider charm!
For Crash Your Stash this month the cue was corner punches - the only punch I had was a corner rounder so using the fabulous papers from our sponsor, We are 3 I used a lovely dark paper as the background and added panels of two other papers from the Shabby Set, I fussy cut the butterflies from the sentiment sheet and also used the sentiment. I added a little sparkle to the butterflies with some bling and a nice sparkle paste, finished off with some pretty heart gems.
For the Colour Challenge
This month's sponsor was the Paper Shelter and who can resist their cute images! The first challenge was a monochrome using red, I used the little devil image pre coloured and added different red and pink hearts.
The second challenge was a challenge where we give you one colour from the picture and you add another two and your twist and tell us what it is. The base colour was orange so I added yellow and green and the adorable little witch pre coloured scene from TPS and added some die cuts as my twist.
Festive Fridays
For my first card I used a lovely set from Crafters Companion, the moon has been stamped and heat embossed with a lovely sparkly black powder that I have had for years! I die cut the cute fairy from some white glitter card along with lots of snowflakes, the sentiment is also from Crafters Companion and is part die cut and the rest stamped, all mounted on that delicious snowflake paper with a glitter base layer.
The second card featured a Paper Shelter pre coloured image, the base card is a delicious pearlised purple and I added some die cut elements (spiders web, spider, bats, haunted house, tree and sentiment) I also used a little thread of clear liquid pearls to give the spider an attachment to his web!
So that is my October round up - I will have another card to share tomorrow so come back soon!

I will be Back Soon!
Hello everyone, I've not been around for quite some time!
I can tell you now as it is not quite so painful but I lost my soulmate and love of my life last June very suddenly and I can tell you it knocked me for six! We had been together for 34 years and were looking forward to retirement and going on special holidays and getting to spend time together - we were those rare people that actually liked each other after all those years and enjoyed spending time together.
But it was not to be........
I am starting to get my life together on my own and get back to doing things that I love, this summer I spent time in the garden getting things planted and looking nice, I am sorting out all my craft stuff and getting organised - I have been remodelling the house and now I have decided to retire!
I have been rebuilding my love of crochet and joined my first CAL which is so much fun and now I am making toys ready for Santa!
So now I will continue my journey alone (with the help of my two pups, Sammy and Willow) and finish the house and garden to how I want them then start to craft again. I have lots of Christmas projects that I want to do and when I get them done I will share them here.
I have continued with my DT work at the Outlawz and will start to share those projects here too!
So watch this space and I will be back to share something soon!

Hi everyone, the new challenge has started at the Outlawz Progressive and this month our image is from Sheepski Designs
This month we have an image called Virgo or Virgo Cat and I had real fun making my project with it!
If you want to join in this challenge go to the Outlawz and join up then pop into the Progressive challenge and request the image, very simple and as a bonus there are also 7 new challenges every week, one every day! We have lovely people and great prizes - so what are you waiting for!
Eclectic Ellapu!
Hi everyone, been missing again! There have been too many important things happening in my life to have any time for crafting but I have some days to play so I will make the most of it!
Today sees a new challenge start at Eclectic Ellapu and this month we have an Anything Goes theme, so no excuse to come on over and play!
I made a travel card this month - I got a great new stamp set that I really wanted to play with so put it to use with this one!
I heat embossed the images onto the paper (that came with the stamps!) and cut some luggage tags to add some extra sentiment and depth.
I really hope you will come over and join us this month!

The Outlawz is 7!!!
Welcome to the Outlawz Blog Hop as we celebrate the Outlawz turning 7! It is a great place to find - I came across it 6 years ago and been lurking around ever since! We have a different challenge start each day and every challenge is different so you won't get bored and there is always something to suit everyone each week! We also have some great sponsors for the daily challenges as well as site wide challenges where you can win a prize just for uploading a project to the monthly inlinks! We publish a winners page every month so be sure to check it out to see if you are a winner!
We also have a progressive/freebie challenge every month starting on the 1st of each month. We have had images from countless digi artists and as we're not tied to any company each month is a surprise!
But apart from the great challenges and prizes the best thing about the Outlawz is the support you get from other crafters - you don't have to be super experienced to join in, we love to see new crafters just starting on their journey jump in and share their work with us; all the members are so supportive and I can tell you nothing that is hand crafted is 'bad' everything that you take time and love to craft is beautiful and should be shared with pride!
I am the Leader of the Colour Challenge and love developing challenges to make our members use their crafting skills to create beautiful projects! I am also part of the Festive Fridays team and the Progressive team so you will see me pop up all over the place!
For our bloghop Andrea Norris the brilliant artist behind Sheepski Designs has give us a beautiful image to use called 'Sunflowers'.
I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and tried to keep with the rustic feel of this beautiful image so I used some woodgrain backing paper along with a nice bitter chocolate floral from a pad that was on sale in The Works, the wooden corners were also from The Works, I finished off with a lovely big yellow bow!
Now all the team have made a project with this gorgeous images so make sure to hop over and see all the projects as there are prizes hiding on every blog!
Here is the line up for the blog hop - happy hunting everyone!

Outlawz Progressive Challenge
Today sees a new challenge at the Outlawz for the Progressive/Freebie group. Every month we have an image from an artist that we will send you to colour and make a project with.
This month we have a beautiful digi from Beccy Muir - aka Beccy's Place - the image we got to play with this month is called Wild Rose and comes as a line drawing and a coloured digi!
I used the line drawing for my project which was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and I coloured the roses in a style that I have seen in hedgerows in England all my life
I cut the image out with a heart shaped die, used an embossing folder to give me the textured panel behind the image and some pretty floral background paper, finished with some glittery butterflies and a double cut sentiment; I tried to keep my pallate to the colours of the flowers to enhance the image.
I hope you like my version of this pretty image and I'm sure the person that receives this card will be happy to receive it!
To join in the fun go to the Outlawz Challenges and sign up for the progressive/freebie challenge and we will send you out this beautiful image - then you have until the end of February to make a project with the image and post it on the challenge page; as long as you do that you will automatically receive the image for next month then keep submitting and receive the image each month you have made a project!
See you there!!

Eclectic Ellapu is Back!
Yey! Eclectic Ellapu is back after the winter break and to kick off the new year we have an old favourite
ANYTHING GOES!
So I have a card to share with you that features an image from Sandra Caldwell, who draws the quirkiest images! This image is called 'Katerday Night Fever' and I named it! Sandra had a competition on her FB group to name a new image - I did not name that image but she liked the name I came up with so she drew another cat!
So this is my interpetation of that image, coloured with Prismacolor pencils,
Now doesn't he come straight out of the 70's! He looks the original party animal so I teamed him up with some real party paper and red glitter!
I hope you will come and join us at Eclectic Ellapu for our new challenge - see you there!
